Here is some legal graffiti for you. Chris and I were stuck, we both did not know what to do. We knew we wanted to do something big, and outside. Mrs. Purtee came up to us, and asked if we would like to collaborate and paint on the trailer. We both were very interesting, Chris being good at spray paint, and me being pretty good with acrylic. I learned how to paint very big, as Chris learned how to do graffiti with a brush instead of a can. We planned by sketching in my sketchbook, as shown below.
Chris said it wasn't good enough, and would be too simple. I did not realize that Mrs. Purtee would allow us to have more time than usual for this project.
This was the Apex A, which was our original plan, along with the "P" for aPex. This was very extensive and would be hard to get perfect.
The E was not very extensive, but would have a lot of color.
This is the X, the last letter, but also the coolest letter. I think it is very cool because of the color we chose, along with the 3D effects.
And here is where it got complicated... The Art 4 class thought it said "Art of Sex", so we had to redo the P.
Here is it after we made some "Trailer Tan" colored paint. It looks a lot better, but Chris still did not like the P.
Here is the final product. From this picture, we outlined the other A, made "of" solid black, wrote Cougars in cursive on the Apex A, and changed the P.
